Is it okay to write your bank details on your Wedding Invitations?
Etiquette says NO, and so do I!
And, I'm gonna tell you why!
Wedding participation is an invitation to participate to the civil or religious ceremony and the subsequent banquet by a person or a family.
You don’t know if they will come .... and ask for the gift !
It is as if you invite a person to dinner at your house and ask to bring wine ! ... Would you do it? I think not !
So wedding attendance is not the right ticket to ask for the gift !
... but you think that , since you live together , you do not want the set of pots , or crystal glasses! Right ?
I can give you a solution that can make you look good and get what you want!
Always keep in mind that there will be those three unwanted gifts... you can only accept them and make " good face to bad luck",
The rest of the guests, however, is pleased to give you something that you are so pleased to receive .... so they will do the most obvious thing , they will ask you what you want , to you or to mom and mother-in-law !
Then , you can prepare cards where you will put the address of the travel agency , or the website created for your wedding where you can also indicate, if you want, your Bank details.
Close friends and parents will be happy to know your preferences….believe me, it will happen!
